Vayu

Delete your Vayu account

Vayu, the breathing app by Vireo Health Apps, lets you delete your account and everything backed up to it at any time. You only have an account if you signed in to back up your progress; if you never signed in, there's nothing stored by us to delete.

In the app (straight away)

  1. Open Vayu and go to Settings.
  2. Under Account, tap Delete account.
  3. Confirm it's you with your password, or by choosing your Google account.

Your account and its data are deleted as soon as you confirm.

By email (if you don't have the app)

Email us from the address you use with Vayu, with the subject "Delete my Vayu account". If you signed in with Google, send it from that Google address.

vireo.health.apps@gmail.com

Write the email

We'll check the request comes from the account's owner, delete everything within one month, and reply to confirm.

Deleting some data but keeping your account

If you'd like to keep your account but have part of what's backed up deleted, such as your breathing history or your own routines, email us from the address you use with Vayu and say what you'd like removed. We'll delete it within one month and reply to confirm.

What's deleted

  • Account

Your sign-in: email address, name (for Google accounts) and account ID.

  • Breathing history

Every session record, your streaks and your totals.

  • Your routines

    Every routine you built.

Deleting in the app also clears this data from that phone. Reminder times and settings, which never leave your phone, are removed when you uninstall Vayu.

What's kept

We don't keep any of your Vayu data after your account is deleted. Your Premium purchase is recorded by Google Play, not by us, so it stays with your Google account and you can restore it later. Google keeps its own payment records under Google's privacy policy.

More detail is in the Vayu privacy policy.
